What is a "Passion Project"?
Students will have self-directed time to pursue their passions, choose what they will master, inquire about their own curiosities. Along the way we will enhance their literacy skills, as well as curiosity, connectivity and creativity.

Project Steps
Step #1 - Choose a research topic or problem to solve.
Post: Submit to Padlet the topic or problem you will research for this Passion Project and evidence of reflection on a variety or topics and interest.
Step #2 - Brainstorm questions about your topic.
Post: Submit your research question. Make sure it is “Thick” and can not be answered with a yes or no or a quick Google search.

Step #3 - Pitch your Passion Project.
Post: Your "pitch" to Padlet. Have at least 2 people give you feedback with the required feedback rubric. . Show Mrs. Mebius the completed rubrics. There are 2 parts to step 3. Post the "pitch" & show Mrs. Mebius evidence of 2 competed feedback rubrics.
An "elevator pitch" can be summed up as follows...

She has a very short period of time to convince this investor to buy into her idea.
